Description
In two separate television commercials, John Nash Ott promotes Millburn Sphagnum Peat Moss, a soil conditioning product which he exclaims, "holds from 15 to 20 times its own weight in water."
The Millburn Peat Company, Inc. began after its founder, Glenn H. Traer of Lake Villa, Illinois, accidentally discovered between three and five million cubic yards of peat while attempting to develop part of a bog into an artificial lake.
