Abstract
William J. Grede talks to an unidentified reporter in Seattle. Grede explains that he is in town to speak at the 70th anniversary luncheon of the Chamber of Commerce (where he will give a talk titled "A New Call for Freedom") and to attend the annual meeting of the YMCA. They also discuss Grede's upcoming trip to Washington, DC, where he is set to appear before the House Committee on Banking and Currency. He explains that he will argue on behalf of the National Association of Manufacturers that Congress should let the Defense Production Act of 1950 expire.
