Abstract
Silent footage of murals. Includes Rompiendo Las Cadenas (Breaking the Chains) at 1458 N Rockwell St and Unidos Para Triunfar (Together We Overcome) at 2100 W Division St by John Pitman Weber and Oscar Martínez; Prevent World War III by Marcos Raya; Peace at 1430 W 18th St by Hector Duarte, Luis Montenegro, and Roberto Valadez; and Sí Se Puede at 1210 W 19th St by José Guerrero.
This footage was shot for an unfinished documentary about the visual language of murals in Chicago's Hispanic communities.
