Abstract
Loosely assembled footage depicts the following: Mayor Richard M. Daley tours a shrimp processing facility; Daley marches in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade; Attorney General Roland Burris announces his candidacy for Mayor at the Ramada Inn on December 10, 1994; a helicopter and grounds crew install Fernando Botero’s 17-piece exhibition, “Botero in Chicago,” in Grant Park on April 24, 1994; maintenance staff mow the grass at Soldier Field; Czech artist David Cerny’s “Man Hanging Out” sculpture perches on top of the Columbia College building in August 2007; sculptor Dan Galemb speaks outside the Art Institute during the installation of two Chicago Bears helmets he designed for the Institute’s bronze lions in December 1985.
