Abstract
Amateur horror film made by teenage brothers Mike and Bill Armstrong, featuring a giant hand attacking the town of Bedford.
Description
Open with a hand-written intertitle reading "Bedford is a small town, a quiet town, A town where death is Seldom." A dramatic zoom-cut-unzoom reveals a second intertitle reading "UNTIL NOW." The town of Bedford is shown in close-up shots of what is clearly a miniature set made up of buildings including a water tower, houses, and storefronts, including an ice cream shop. A human hand appears and destroys the ice cream shop. A pair of intertitles read: "DEATH TOLL 3, After the Giant Hand Incident." and "BEDFORD WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN."
The reel cuts to shots of a dog in the snow and a teenager swinging and hanging off a tree branch in front of a two-story house. He lets go of the branch, falls to the ground, and plays with the dog.
