Abstract
Loosely assembled footage of a delegation of Chinese officials that includes President Li Xiannian as they tour Chicago while on a nuclear technology business trip. Footage includes political activists as they protest Communist China and the delegation’s arrival in Chicago, the delegation’s trip to a Chicago White Sox vs. Baltimore Orioles baseball game at Comiskey Park on July 25, 1985, a tour through the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and President Li’s inauguration of Chinese consul-general Huang Zhirong on July 26.
