Abstract
Brief footage documents floats as they queue up to participate in the 1984 Chicago Labor Day Parade, which began at Michigan Ave and Wacker Dr and traveled south along Michigan to conclude at Congress Pkwy. Float decorations represent several Pan American World Airways unions including the Air Line Pilots Association, the Independent Union of Flight Attendants, the Flight Engineers International Association, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen and Helpers of America, and the Transport Workers Union, as well as the Bricklayers Union Local No. 21 and the United Steelworkers of America.
