Abstract
Loosely assembled footage depicts the following: landscape scenery shot from a passenger train; the Human Performance Laboratory at Ball State University; Chicago’s Columbus Day Parade; Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade and an appearance by the Shannon Rovers Irish Pipe Band; Mayor Richard J. Daley and Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden, deliver speeches during a rededication ceremony for the 30-foot, 150-ton bronze statue of Swedish botanist Carl von Linne after its relocation from Lincoln Park to the Midway Plaisance on April 19, 1976.
