Terry Callier "When I'm Goin Home"
Date Of Production
April 21 1973
Abstract
Silent footage of Terry Callier singing and playing guitar at the Earl of Old Town (1615 N Wells St) on April 21, 1973. Seemingly unrelated audio of a stage skit was used as leader at the head and tail, as well as to divide shots.
The footage was shot for a larger project about folk music in Chicago. The title of the production is unknown; a slate at the beginning of the reel indicates that this was take 8, roll 8, with “Bosco” on sound, “King” as director, “Biagi” and “Pitts” as cameramen, and “CIELO Corp.” as the production company.
