Series I: CFA Media Mixer works
Abstract
This series contains finished digital video works created for Chicago Film Archives' annual Media Mixer, beginning in 2012. Each year, three pairs of artists — one audio artist or musician and one film or video maker — collaborated to create three new works derived from digitized archival footage made available by CFA. The "Media Mixer" was both the name of the collaborative practice that generated these works and the name of the event at which they debuted.
