Rob Christopher is a Chicago-based independent filmmaker and writer. Christopher was born in Denver in 1975, and grew up mostly in Arvada, CO. He started making films on VHS when he was 12 years old, and made several feature-length videos in junior high and high school. He moved to Chicago to attend the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1993, and transferred to Columbia College in 1994. While at Columbia, he shot Pause of the Clock, a 16mm feature film that he did not complete, mostly due to financial reasons. In 2015, Christopher launched a Kickstarter and finished the film 20 years later. It premiered at the Denver International Film Festival and screened at various theaters. Christopher's second feature film, experimental documentary Roy's World: Barry Gifford's Chicago, was released in 2020.
