Russ Griesmeyer Collection
Abstract
This collection consists of 9.5mm commercial films and equipment that Russ Griesmeyer collected, as well as 8mm home movies from the 1940s and 1950s that were shot by Russ' father Robert Griesmeyer, mostly around northern Illinois.

Russell E. Griesmeyer was born in 1947. He was married to Lynn (Mueller) Griesmeyer and the couple lived in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. He was an avid collector of films, and was particularly interested in the 9.5mm film format.
