Russ Griesmeyer Collection
Abstract
This collection consists of 9.5mm commercial films and equipment that Russ Griesmeyer collected, as well as 8mm home movies from the 1940s and 1950s that were shot by Russ' father Robert Griesmeyer, mostly around northern Illinois.

This collection was donated to CFA by Russ' widow Lynn Griesmeyer in 2021.
Use Restrictions
Chicago Film Archives does not own the copyright to the professional films in this collection. CFA does hold the rights to the home movies in the collection.
